This move is timely as key countries such as China, the USA are on track for ratification with India already having done so. IndustriAll Europe is very hopeful that the global climate agreement for which trade unions have campaigned for years will enter into force soon.

Europe and its highly skilled workforce are positioned to capitalize on the possibilities set out by such an agreement by further supporting high-quality job creation and investment in sustainable and renewable energy production, transport and efficient machinery.
