One of the energy intensive industries, the cement sector faces major challenges in the transition to a carbon neutral economy.

Already heavily hit by ongoing restructuring over the past years, trade unions aim to improve their strategic position by joining forces. A first exchange of experiences took place in a workshop in Brussels on 21 May. industriAll Europe and EFBWW aim at developing a joint strategy and concrete actions.
